Understand why a lead is temporarily paused

When Ubic pauses a lead after an unanswered call, their record shows when they should return to the calling list.

Read the lead record

The cycle indicator explains that the lead is On hold and managed by an automation. They are not deleted or abandoned; they are simply unavailable until the next phase.

Under Activity, you can find the journey name, current phase, expected return date, and recent actions performed by Ubic.

Call earlier

If the lead must be handled before the planned date, use the exit action from their record. They become callable again, and the history keeps the reason they entered the automation.

When you change a lead's status, Ubic immediately stops the cycle if the previous condition no longer matches. If the new status matches another automation assigned to the list, the lead enters that cycle. A lead also exits the cycle when they leave an affected list.

Run an automation early for the whole list

From the list's … menu, select Run an automation now, then choose the automation. Ubic shows how many leads are still waiting in each one and processes the request in the background. Only leads currently waiting in that automation are included; completed or canceled cycles are not restarted. Ubic checks each lead's conditions again when processing it.

If you set these delays for the team, read how to configure progressive pauses.
