You need a Ubic account and membership in the workspace you want to connect. In an assistant that supports remote MCP connections with OAuth, copy https://app.getubic.com/mcp to create a custom connection. Whether you can add this connection depends on your assistant, your plan, and your organization's policies.
The connection opens Ubic's Authorize an assistant page. It uses your Ubic account and does not require a Ubic API key. A custom connection does not require Ubic to be listed in the assistant's directory.
The connector can read call history, qualification results, sessions prepared through the API, the prospects in those sessions and follow-up tasks. Transcripts require separate access. It cannot place calls, send SMS or change data in Ubic or your CRM.
Returned data is shared with the assistant you connect. Review that provider's data handling rules and your organization's policies before granting access.
Sign in to Ubic when the sign-in page appears.
Under Workspace, select the workspace whose data the assistant should read.
Under Read access, enable the requested categories you want to allow.
To allow the assistant to read the transcript of a call you request, enable Call transcriptions when this permission is offered. It is optional and switched off initially.
Click Authorize to return to the assistant. To cancel the whole request, click Deny.
If you are a member, the assistant can read your calls, sessions belonging to lists you own and tasks assigned to you. If you are an administrator, it can read the team's activity in the selected workspace. Transcripts follow the same visibility and always require their separate permission. Ubic checks your current role on every read: changing from administrator to member reduces the data available. The assistant cannot use this connection to access another workspace. Switching workspaces in Ubic does not change the assistant's workspace. To connect another workspace, restart authorization from the assistant and select that workspace. Disconnect the previous connection if you no longer want to grant access to it.
Try a specific request such as “Summarize my calls yesterday” or “Show my follow-up tasks.” A paginated result may cover only part of the data: ask the assistant to state the period and coverage of its answer.
You can then disconnect the assistant from Ubic. Disconnecting stops new reads; it does not erase data already shared with the assistant provider.
If Ubic says the request has expired or is no longer valid, restart the connection from the assistant to open a new authorization page.
If a transcript is refused because permission is missing, restart the authorization requested by the assistant and enable Call transcriptions. Permission does not create a transcript: a call with an unavailable transcript remains unavailable.
If a call or task is missing, check the workspace reported by the assistant, the requested period and the limits of your role. Leaving the workspace or disconnecting the assistant removes access to new reads.
